Gregory E. Jeansonne, M.D. (Kingsport)
Dr. Greg completed his Orthopaedic Residency at Tulane University, New Orleans in 2006, spending his final year with the Campbell Clinic in Memphis due to hurricane Katrina. He received his MD degree in 2001 from LSU, New Orleans. He also received BS degrees in Mechanical Engineering in 1994 & Zoology in 1990 from LSU, Baton Rouge, and an MBA in 1992 from Tulane. While at LSU, Baton Rouge he competed in the Pole Vault for the National Championship Track & Field team.
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Tennessee Medical Association. He is active in Orthopaedic Trauma research and in developing new fracture treatment techniques. He enjoys all aspects of General Orthopaedics with special interests in Trauma & Joint Replacement.
He lives in Kingsport with his wife Susan, daughter Noel, and son Beau. He enjoys bowhunting, racquetball, swimming and weightlifting.
Daniel F. Klinar, M.D. (Kingsport)
Dr. Daniel Klinar received his undergraduate degree from Davidson College, Davidson, North Carolina and his medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. His post graduate medical training consisted of an internship and residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Darmouth, New Hampshire. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Campbell Foundation in Memphis Tennessee, and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Klinar has published in the American Journal of Orthopaedics and presented at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, and the Tennessee Medical Association. Dr. Klinar has extensive experience in joint replacement surgery and shoulder surgery as well as general orthopaedics. Reagan R. Parr, M.D. (Johnson City)
Dr. Reagan Parr is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and received his undergraduate education at Baylor University followed by medical school at the University of Oklahoma. He spent 11 years Active Duty with U.S. Army, including tours in Germany, Bosnia-Hersegovina, Cambodia, the Republic of Korea, multiple Pacific Islands, and Baghdad, Iraq. He has multiple journal articles, lectures, awards and decorations to his credit. While he has experience in all branches of orthopaedic surgery, he has particular interest and expertise in trauma, sports related injuries, and conditions of the ankle, foot and hand. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Parr is joined by his wife, Hayden, and three children: Riley, Keaton, and Julia. They attend Munsey Methodist Church and are active in multiple community activities ranging from Scouting to soccer. T. Lisle Whitman, M.D. (Bristol Medical Center)
Dr. Lisle Whitman received his undergraduate training at Furman University and his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. His post graduate medical training consisted of a residency in general and orthopaedic surgery at the University of Virginia. His published works include "Transient Posterior Knee Pain with the Meniscal Arrow," and "Repair of Cortical Bone Defects with an Osteoprogenitor Cell Transfected with IGF-1". He also contributed to the text , "Surgical Recall". Dr. Whitman is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Christian Medical and Dental Associations. Dr. Whitman specializes in sports medicine, joint replacements, and treats all general orthopaedic problems.
