Fred Knickerbocker, M.D.
Dr. Fred Knickerbocker and his wife Susan, reside in Bristol, Virginia, and they have two sons, Miles and Brian. They attend the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, and Dr. Knickerbocker is very active with the Boy Scouts of America. He has been with our Midway Office since 1977. He graduated from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency at Charlotte Memorial Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is board certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He practices general orthopaedics.
Michael Fleenor, M.D.
Dr. Michael Fleenor and his wife, Rita, reside in Bristol Virginia. They have four children, Devon, Skyler, Michael and Kayla. Dr. Fleenor is currently spearheading the opening of the Bristol Fire Museum. He has been with our Midway office since 1989. He graduated from the Medical College of Virginia and is board certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Fleenor practices general orthopaedics, but specializes in hand surgery. He completed his hand fellowship at the prestigious Christine Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery in Louisville, Kentucky.
